Just breathe- literally. If you are finding yourself feeling challenged, stressed, worried, overwhelmed. Just breathe. Place one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly … take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth (focus on the release)… allow your belly to expand with every breath in and all the air to leave with every exhale. FEEL the emotions, honor them, and let them go. Process without self judgement, but instead, radical self love.
As a highly sensitive human, I have been working extra hard to protect my energy in a highly delicate time. It’s been draining. It’s been emotional. It’s been challenging. It’s been hard.
I will get through this, I will grow. You will get through this, you will grow. It’s not always easy or comfortable to deal with real life situations that are laced in uncertainty and there is so much left to be unknown. The challenges become even greater when you have such little personal control over the outcome- over the struggle that you see going on all around.
I want to acknowledge that positive. I want to highlight how many families are been spending MORE time TOGETHER. How many friends I have heard from that are taking time to focus on self care/self love. Perspective is key and I choose to look with an optimistic yet realist perspective. I enjoy seeing so many others doing the same. If you are being deeply and personally effected on a physical level by COVID 19 – I send you healing energy.
