After hearing “I need a Janelle” over and over again, I felt the confirmation that I needed. This is what I was supposed to be doing!
In 2019 I chose to pursue this dream of mine to build my own business. As soon as I made this announcement I was asked to become the Director of Operations for a small (multi purpose) business I was already doing Executive Assistant work for. With immense gratitude and excitement I said YES! I was able to support the owner/founder and her business until the midst over COVID when she chose to dissolve her business.
That choice provided me with the spaciousness and opportunity to ask myself “What’s next?”
In July of 2020 I opened up the *online* doors to (drum roll) Syncquility. My company started off focusing on Personal Growth and Sisterhood and immediately became a strong, special community. Additionally I created online courses, led masterminds, facilitated masterclasses/events and hosted retreats.
Having had the honor of supporting business owners (at all levels) at all points of their business, I leaned back into supporting business owners behind the scenes.
Syncquility has grown into a Personal Growth + Business Growth company.
I genuinely love this work! As someone who has been a team of one to having a small team of my own, I understand the challenges that come from being a small business owner. The never ending to-do list. The stress of attempting to find work life balance or time management. Does the feeling of needing control; thinking “No one can do it like me, so I will just do it myself.” sound familiar? I get it, because I’ve been there. Of course you can do it on your own, but you don’t need to. You just need a Janelle’ ◡̈
